This Privacy Policy explains how BANK Prop Hire & Interiors ("we", "us", "our") collects and uses your personal data when you visit bankdunlaoghaire.com or contact us. We are committed to protecting your privacy in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018.

2. What data we collect
- Contact form submissions: name, email address, subject, message, and any product reference.
- Account data (staff only): email address and hashed password for admin access.
- Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and abuse prevention.
We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 16.
3. How we use your data & legal basis
- To respond to your enquiries — legitimate interest and your consent when you submit the contact form.
- To manage prop hire bookings — performance of a contract.
- To operate and secure the website — legitimate interest.
- To comply with legal and tax obligations — legal obligation.
4. Sharing your data
We do not sell your data. We share it only with trusted processors who help us run the site:
- Supabase (database & authentication, EU region)
- Cloudflare (hosting and DDoS protection)
- Email providers we use to reply to you
5. International transfers
Where any processor stores data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. How long we keep it
- Contact form messages: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Hire and sales records: 6 years (Irish Revenue requirement).
- Server logs: up to 30 days.
7. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Request erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict or object to processing
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time

8. Security
We use HTTPS encryption, role-based access controls and database row-level security to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify you and the Data Protection Commission of any breach within 72 hours where required by law.
