Terms & Conditions

Last updated: May 2026

These Terms govern your use of bankdunlaoghaire.com and any purchase, viewing or prop hire arranged through it. By using the site you agree to these Terms.

1. About us

BANK Prop Hire & Interiors is a sole trader business trading from 1-2 Anglesea Buildings, George's Street Upper, Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, A96 XE67. Contact: hello@bankdunlaoghaire.com.

2. Use of the site

You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes and not to attempt to gain unauthorised access, scrape content at scale, or interfere with its operation. All content (images, text, branding) is owned by us or our licensors and may not be reproduced without written permission.

3. Pieces shown on the site

All items are vintage or antique. Photographs are illustrative; minor wear, patina and variation are part of the character of every piece. We aim to describe condition accurately and recommend a viewing by appointment before purchase. Prices are in Euro (€) and inclusive of VAT where applicable.

4. Sales

A sale is concluded when we issue a written confirmation (email or invoice). Stock is subject to prior sale; until confirmed, an enquiry does not reserve a piece. Payment is due in full before collection or delivery unless otherwise agreed.

5. Delivery & collection

Collection from our Dún Laoghaire premises is by appointment. Delivery quotes are provided on a per-item basis. Risk passes to you on collection or delivery; please check items at handover.

6. Returns & consumer rights

See our Returns & Refunds Policy. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under Irish or EU law.

7. Prop hire

Prop hire is governed by a separate written hire agreement issued at the time of booking. In summary:

  • A refundable security deposit is required.
  • The hirer is responsible for the props from collection until safe return.
  • Loss, damage or late return is chargeable at replacement value or daily hire rate.
  • Hire periods, rates and insurance requirements are set out in your individual hire agreement.

8. Liability

We do not exclude or limit liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid by you for the relevant item or hire.

9. Privacy

See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your personal data.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. The Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that consumers may bring proceedings in their country of residence as permitted by law.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page.
